One Great Day, My Third Plate

ynpto804 · Oct 5, 2011

Well, I'm stoked. I never thought that I could say that I have dug one plate let alone 3 in a year. This plate came from the same place I dug a box plate about 2-3 weeks ago and I am sure there are more. I am really hoping some coins start poping out of here. So far they have been few and far beteween. Thanks for looking. I'll let the pictures say the rest.

Congrats! Should you ever decide to restore that, there are some great people out there that can work wonders for the display quality of a plate like that.

Cheers,

creskol- Thanks, I expected a few more replies than 2 but you know its just a old US Plate. One of my buddies said I should use it as a boat anchor. LoL

BuckleBoy- What do you think a restoration on something like this would cost?

Is that shoe detector on your avatar for real? That's what I've been envisioning for awhile. Great finds btw.

Great finds!
Sweet plate!

Hope the coins start popping out for you soon.

bearbqd- They are for sale on the internet but I think they more of a novelty. I think they will be hitting the spring runways as the next big fashion statement.

Congratulations on your 3rd plate. Most never dig 1. Your having a great year

Some people have all the luck. :icon_thumright:

That's a nice plate and a bunch of nice relics to go with it. I thought one plate was good period. But 3 in a year is awesome and the year isn't over yet. I bet you dig another before new years.
