one of those days

I had one of those days today, you know the one that makes up for all those below-average finds or just plain junk!. The forecast for today was cooler temperatures and cloudy skies, so I headed to one of the local swimming holes that is always busy and crowded, today was a day that I knew it would not be busy. Arrived just as the park was opening and I was able to do a pretty good search on the beach with nobody bothering me, I found the nice gold ring on the necklace in the sand. The smaller gold ring was also in the sand, no gold markings but it looks like somebody scratched their own lettering on the inside. Searched the beach for a couple hours then I decided to try the water, found some more coins and the cheap costume bracelet and rings. The water started getting crowded with rowdy teenagers, so I decided to call it quits. Found over $10 in change and the nice gold ring, it's days like this that keep me going!!

Wow :o my hunts for quality finds have been bad lately...I did dig almost 400 coins this week and I am sore...But looking at this picture fired me up...until I sat up in chair and felt pain in arms! I have to get used to swinging my stock coil again...my small coil is being sent in for repairs...fantastic hunt great pic! :)

Some really great finds there! Great rings, now all you need to find is one of the John Adams dollars. Way to go!

One of those DANG good days!... Wow, nice finds. I hunted a swimming area this morning and came up with a few pennies and a clad dime. I hunted the same one on the 4th and found a nice sterling ring. I think someone else has been hitting it regular. Congrats on the great finds.
