One Toasted Copper! Any Thoughts?

Hiked about 2 hours today to find a 1910 wheat penny and one toasty old copper. No clue what it is but it kinda looks a tree or something on it. It very well could just be the way it corroded as well but figured this was the place that somebody would recognize something if it was there to be seen. I won't be holding my breath and the other side is much worse.

well look on the left side under tree - it looks like a star pattern. The only LC that I know of that has this is a Pine Tree.

Agreed that it looks nothing like any of the trees I'm aware of. Just know idea what it could be. Prob a mystery forever.

I will do some more work on it tonight and see what happens. Nothing to lose at this point

I think you may be holding it upside down. Kinda looks like a Mass. State copper? We may never know.
