Okay...lots of pictures as promised! :tongue3:

We did some detecting at tot lots, some panning and sluicing....only found some lil specks of gold but then went to a football field and Jeffro found a small black hills gold ring. We wandered through an old mining camp as well and Jeffro found a big ol chain, David found an arrow and lil Randy found a coyote skull he is displaying proudly on a stick. lol We have had a blast so far....going to go out again tomorrow!

Oh....I found a sunburn! rofl One tot lot even had a nice doghouse for Jeff! :laughing9:

Muahaha David took a couple UGLY pics of me and I did not post them! :tongue3:

I know Jeff got at least one but he is not to a computer yet...he is outside our room at the bbq grill takin pics of the brats at the moment! lol I was loving the sign! Cracked me up so I took a pic and Jeff said I needed to post it. :laughing9:

We are having a blast and looking forward to more tomorrow!

Those old mining shacks are pretty cool though huh! TT wasn't able to come up and I think Imafishingnut is still busy with his grandma so keeping him real prayed up for sure! Jeffro and his son Randy have been a blast! That boy has more energy than you can imagine...he found that old pallet and drug it around all over....even tried surfing on it in the stream! rofl We all ate too much....bbq was busy with burgers and bratwurst and boy oh boy were they good. We also had some of that jerky David sells while we were out running around....amazing how well that carries ya til the bbq is going good. I did not end up bringing cinnamon rolls since so few folks were committed to being here....had I made them we would not have had room for bbq and David's breakfast goulash we are gonna have in the morning! lol Hopefully we will get a trip together someplace at a time when more folks are coming!! Well David is finishing up in the shower so I am gonna get ready to get mine and crash...we have plans for in the morning to go hit a ghost town and stage stop that is on our way back. Sure wish you guys could have been here!! Jeff and Randy are WAY too much fun to hang out with!! Sweet dreams everyone!! I will try and get some more pics of our stuff tomorrow! :icon_sunny:

Luv the pics! Hey, just so happens it's my fav. color too! Dang, that sign would be soooo tempting. LOL
BTW, tell Dave the #12 and #14 taste great on grilled steaks! Yum!

WOW Cyn I can't think of a better outing than that one. Hey check that drain pipe for snakes first then sweep the bottoms of the riffles out. :thumbsup:

I can't keep the spice mixtures straight which is which number...I just pick them up and look at them and know which ones I like...guess I will have to learn them by their numbers! lol Glad they were good for the steaks. I will have to give it a try when I get home and get some steaks!

I will let David know you liked them though! :thumbsup:

Snakes! rofl Actually we found a big bunch of snakes in one of the culverts in the Ochocos last year...made me a bit uneasy about the culverts after that! I did take the nugget sucker for THEM to suck all the material out of the riffles though!

I had enough catchin snakes when I was at the resort to last me a lifetime! :tongue3:

Well we had another full day today starting with one of David's breakfast skillets and off metal detecting and sight seeing all over the place. We even saw some critters! Yesterday we saw a bear in the woods but didn't get a pic but today I found one that could not get away! lol

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed Jeff and that lil energetic Randy! lol I have a bunch more pics to post since I am home and no...there are none of me! rofl I do know Jeff got some though so he will probably add those after he gets home....gonna be atleast another hour and a half before he even gets there. Poor guy had a long drive back!
