original sculpture??

I have bought this beautifull large biscuit porcelain statue which supposedly was made by Pierre Marie Francois Ogé. But it is signed Piere Ogé with only one R instead of two. Is it an original?

oke thanks, i sure don't have luck in buying originals. but at least it is still a very nice statue. And i have found only one other example so not common.
