Ornate pin found 6" down... ideas?

Found this while detecting our new location. This was around 6" down. Little buildup on it makes me think it might be old!

Any idea of how old it may be? Can it be identified by the design style?

This is our first 'find' (besides junk of course ) and would love to know what it is!

Its beautiful and a nice find...victorian era and the backside detail is of victorian age

well its a pin,, old definitely by condition id say mid to late 1800's. Id clean it more and look for markings

Id soak it in 100% lemon juice

Naw, just long enough to get the crude off, it'll clean pretty quick, maybe a toothbrush as well, But 100% lemon juice is pretty mild on Brass.
