OUR FIRST FIND!!!! AX OR MAUL

My boyfriend and I have looked and looked and finally today with 6hrs of searching we found our very first Indian artifact. Not sure if this is called an ax head or maul but very cool and we were thrilled. The end is still crisp and sharp. Found in NW Missouri

Is the end shaped like a cutting blade or is it blunt. I can't tell from photo, just can see some wear pattern on the end. A axe will have a knife like end and a maul will be more of a blunt end. If you can show a photo of the bit end. Great find either way

Very nice! I've been hunting for almost 20 years and have yet to find a grooved ax. Certainly there are points to be found there

yes first find, crazy! there was flint and found 3 pieces that I think might have been arrowheads but not sure. I'll post below
