[FONT=&quot]Out yesterday with my fluid bed concentrator. It was doing what it was supposed to. It held the heavies. Here's about 95% of the black sands I pulled out of the concentrates left in the device after about two 5 gallon pails full of 30 mesh screened sand from the NSR yesterday. I haven't separated the gold yet, but it's looking good so far. By the time I ran the remaining cons through my double sized micro sluice, I ended up with about 2-3 tables spoons of gold/black sand to pan out.

I have been fooling around with building my own. I wander if you could give me a shot of the fluid head? I’m curious how it introduces the water.

I’ve tried water feeding through a 200 mesh screen on the bottom of a 6” clear tube. Works ok but needs some tuning yet. I do like how I can see what’s going on inside the unit.
