Carlin was one of the top 5 least funny comedians in my opinion.

I saw him live, I laughed maybe a half dozen times the entire show, saw Redd Fox live, I laughed so hard my jaws hurt when I got home....

I had a chance to see Richard Pryor live in a small nightclub in Omaha in 1975 but I couldn't find anyone who wanted to go with me, it was before he was famous but I had been buying his albums since his first. Since i didn't find anyone I didn't go. I have regretted not just going by myself for 38 years.

I've laughed at both of those dead comedians, but I prefer the old Frankie Pace (before Youtube) but here's one

Pryor would be a fun one to see.
I don't know all his jokes that I'm aware of.

Only well known comedians I remember seeing at the moment,
was Cheech & Chong. and in all honesty,
sitting through an hour or so Of the same old jokes from their
albums & movies , well , let's just say,
I can say, I saw Cheech & Chong live
they even yelled at the guy behind me, because he yelled out the punch lines
to everything, till they got P.O.'d

the sad thing with all comedians, they rarely have new material.
we had a Comedy weekend 2 times a year at the bar,
and it was always the same 3 comedians, I forget their names
only thing they could claim was a writer for Letterman.
and a Guest appearance on Senifeld. But every time they
were there, same old jokes

the hecklers were more interesting
