Hey gang! (Red, aarthrj, tele and others!) I know you guys must be busy but I have another request (posted on on the 6th as well: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/dowsing/368859-new-dowsing-request-please.html)
for dowsing if you don't mind. It is a park that I'd like to check out. I spoke on the phone with the manager of the area and he told me that there was some new work/development that may be taking place there soon and pointed me to a couple of places worth checking. The first picture is the main park and and used to have a bait and tackle store that was torn down a few years back, the second is a newly acquired area that they will be doing some work in. His comment to me was that the land hasn't been used or occupied since 1855 or so. Not sure about it's previous history though, other than there is an old dirt road that used to connect the two locations and was sort of a main road back in the day. Any help you guys have will be certainly appreciated. Looking for gold, silver and any cool artifacts (colonial or native american). On land or in the water close to shore. May be getting wet out there! Thanks in advance for your help!

Looks like you did quite well on your first hunt....congrats!!!!

I marked some blue Xs for silver hits. Best areas should have more red circles.

Wow! Thanks Red! That is alot to check on!

Yeah, thought this site might be worth marking out the potential spots.

Red and Green are what? Just want to be sure.....silver=blue but wasn't sure about the others.

Red circles/boxes for loose coins or artifacts of value, from surface down to 1-2 feet deep.

Green for archaeological type of hits, including non-metallic targets such as Native American flints, pottery, carved rocks/trees, old foundation sites, etc.

Medium blue is what I've always used for silver,

Thanks!

Hello DocBeave,In both pictures, dowsing revealed an attraction to metallic treasure in the areas of the white circles. Thanks for posting your pictures,Jon

Thanks teleprospector! Waiting for the temp to go down a bit more to clear out all of the undergrowth, then I plan on spending some time in and around here! I'll post any finds when I do!
