Kyle and I got out today to one of the farms I have permission for here in PA. We found a new site and did very well. We dug a total of 11 buttons and other early relics. I got the first relic out of the field and it turned out to be a Patriotic Jacksonian button. I had to do some research to ID it, but I am quite certain it is one. You can see the eagle on the front of it.

I rounded the day out with a spun-Tombac button and pewter spoon pieces.

Keep the passion high!

Kirk

Like the button... we see a few posted but with so many different ones they're never the same. Looks like you worked for it today, much the same as we did with about the same amount of targets.

Great fistful of old finds!, fun day digging!

You dug up some nice buttons there.

The eagle Jacksonian button is a good one, I found a similar one years ago, have a photo of it somewhere, will show it to you to compare if I find the photo. The button is missing in my room, somewhere. :)

That button definitely made the hunt. Looks like it might clean up fairly well too. Nice finds.

Some great looking buttons bud. Great hunt

Congrats on the Jackson Button and all the other digs, a real nice day had by you two
