PEACE RIVER, FLA

I will in Florida for new month and always wanted to fossil hunt in the Peace River. I will be in Arcadia, FLA via your SR 70.

I do not have boat of any kind and no money to rent one really.. Can some experience person tell me an area where I can fossil hunt via a public access in Arcadia and give me some quick tips and pointers?

I searched this forum but did not find any specifics about where to hunt in Arcadia.

you don't need a boat you can walk in the river and hunt. Just get a long handled digger. Be careful though, there are gators
