Peculiar Pickup Problem

So I went out today looking for banks willing to order half dollars for me on a weekly basis. 3 banks either refused or quoted fees and required business accounts etc. But I did find 2 banks willing to take my dumps. So I have a bunch of dump banks and only 1 ordering for me. Good old BOA. Too bad they have only 2 branches in my area and another 2 a little far out. I really need some more pickup banks cuz I only order 4 boxes at a time. Oh well. At least I have dumping grounds.

Yes, of course. I go in and ask if they will order coins if I open account. Without an account forget it.

you might not want to go in and tell them you'll open an account just if they order you coins. that is blatantly abusing the system. open an account at a branch you won't frequent. when you go to the branches you want to frequent, ask to order. if they ask if you have an account, you do. no more questions asked.

Just curious what the dialogue was when you found banks to take your coin dumps? Did you say you would be bringing a large amount of coins? Rolled, in bags, or do they have coin counters?

I say "can I deposit or exchange large quantities of coin?" and they say "as long as they're rolled". I hope they don't change their tune when I start mega-dumping. I have 15 boxes coming in today.

You will most likely find a problem dumping 15 boxes of rerolled coins- not only from the banks but also from the other cth in your area cause those banks are gonna sale them back to other crh- if youre gonna do that volume find a better dumping situation or you will get cut off
