Had to travel for work today and I thought I would take advantage of some new territory. Searched over $600 in CWR halves and found......NOTHING. At one of my decided dump banks, the teller that helped me was actually opening a box of Brinks halves into trays. I said that I was surprised that she bothered to order them at all. She proceeded to tell me that ONE ( her emphasis) of her customers uses them in his register. Yeah right, I thought. I decided to not blow his cover, may have been a different story if it was my territory . Explained why I couldn't find any keepers.

When I got back to work I had about 6200 quarters to count from the laundry money. NO SILVER again!

Man I really got skunked today. For me, this is a terrible day. I can almost always find something, especially with all those CWRs.

On a better note, I ordered my first box of halves today. Sould be in next week. I will continue to concentrate on CWRs but I thought a supplement couldn't hurt.

A guy may use them for his business. My home town in west central wisconsin, the bar used half dollars for change. All beer was an even or half dollar amount, he made things really simple. Now a town east of here where Live in West Central Missouri uses half dollars as change. It is a movie theater. Ticket prices come out to be ither a full dollar amount or have a half dollar amount. Makes things faster and simpler.
