penny roll surprise...maybe. looking for suggestions.

Hello, So tonight i was opening some penny rolls i had picked up a while back, just for kicks. I opened the first roll and was surprised to see a 1962 d as bright, shiny, and flawless as any penny i have ever seen. The next one, same. All 50 pennys... same. So it must be a roll from the mint back then, that never got opened. I am wondering if there is anything special about these? Anything I should be thinking about other than just mixing them in with my copper pennys? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Definitely worth keeping together as a roll. Worth a few bucks.

I would definitely keep them. There is nothing special per se about the 1962-d penny, but take a look at the PCGS site for what they could be worth if slabbed: http://www.pcgs.com/PRICES/PriceGuideDetail.aspx?MS=1&PR=1&SP=1&c=47&title=Lincoln+Cent+(Modern)

MS-63 $7 (red)
MS-64-$10 (red); $12 (red +)
MS-65-$20 (red); $40 (red +)
MS-66-$350

I would imagine that there are very, very few in MS-66. Maybe you want to try to get on of them graded to get an idea of what the rest might grade at, that's of course up to you.
