Well I went fishing at one of my favorite places, and the fishing wasn't that good, but I didnt get skunked at least!
So, I have been fishing this place for years, and only last year, I started to notice obsidian and jasper flakes on the lake shore. Then I began to find broken arrow points and a few knife points, and a few bases, with the tips gone. I thought, "there has to be something unbroken here..." and so I spent a few days ONLY searching for points. But I would only find broken ones and flakes and such, nothing really good. Well, today I only caught three fish, but I was there for 8 hours, and getting bored I started searching again for points. I finally found a point that had been started, but not finnished! Then I found a few "core" rocks that have obviously been used for flakes to make points. I searched some more and even some more, but got tired of looking and began to fish again. I went to one spot, made a few casts, and looked down near my feet to make sure my line was not tangling and saw this...
It's not big, it's not perfect, but it was WHOLE and UNBROKEN!!! I was really happy! I KNEW there had to be something good out there! Here is a pic of all the days finds, Including a bone button.

And the scenery...
And the day wasn't over, I had the privilege of glimpsing some elk too!!
<(*hint* click on the pic to zoom in!!) What a great day!!
