Hello, today I just had to create a post and share with my fellow detectorists. I have been an avid coin collector for over 40 years, always on a budget and could never justify buying the key dates, too busy spending money on raising a family. Today my hard work has finally paid off. With my recently acquired White V3i, I took to an old school built in 1912. Hunting the sidewalk after only an hour, I hit a 1914 wheat cent. Had to wait til I was home to put my loupe on it to read the mint mark, my eyesight aint what it used to be. 1914 D...all the way. Graded Very Fine IMHO. THE GOOD STUFF IS STILL OUT THERE !
