Petrified wood can make some pretty nice artifacts, and then again, some forms make some pretty crude looking pieces. Either way, it could be informational to see what's out there that has come from it.

Post any you may have here.

This is the nicest pet wood point I have found. It's about 1 inch.

I hunted Lake Limestone in Texas once, and there was an abundance of the stuff there. It was sure different than what we are used to for wood.

Nice points and examples. Petrified wood is in its own class!! Never found a artifact made of PW!
