most game pieces we find are made of polished bone and are usually for
the womens game called badushka which has seven different pieces which are put in a basket and tossed like dice

i don't know what this one is for but i kinda like it
i found it a few years ago

yes i have more game pieces
i have mostly bone game pieces but more in a variety of different other stone like some scoria and i think maybe limestone/sandstone type
some game pieces were for sliding on the ice and painted red or another color

 Really neat game piece!

I was thinking that since this piece is not the usual bone, maybe it had a special use in the game. (?)

the markings on it are not like any of the 7 markings on the ones in the game......so i don't think

but i can say that those markings on this piece are found othe round gaming pieces we find

That's cool Larson,I wonder why they used the X symbol on game pieces??? I found lead ones here at contact period sites that have both native American & colonial artifacts that most the time have the X symbol on it.Makes you wonder if they played tic-tac-toe.:laughing7:
