Places people don't think to look.

Those of you that live in snow country find out where the city snow dumps are. When heavy snows happen they have to dump truck the excess away. Public access ways and parking lots are areas of interest. In my area there is an old park the city uses as a snow dump. It produces every year.

Interesting, but what the **** is wrong with paying in coins?

Nothing at all is wrong with it and when the State attorneys fails to file any charges they will be able to file suit for wrongful arrest, harassment and unlawful detainment.

Fact is that in China many coins are found at teh scrap yards that import US and Euro wheels. Often these coins are sold. Legal 100%.

The hotel owner needs to now watch his back very well because the Triad in the past 5 years have been building up there greatly.

That's what I thought, striked me as odd. So far I've been using all my Euro coins from the beach in the biological food machine in our company, much easier to get rid of the coins than trying to get a cashier to accept them.

got one for you

Shower Curtain Rods are hollow

if a Person would have broke into my Home in 1983 , took my shower curtain rod down and peered inside

they would have gained $17,000 .

$100 Bills , rolled up tightly , shoved down the rod using the Toilet Plunger Handle .

sneaky place to hide Bills .

a Burglar can even come in through your bathroom window , push the Curtain out of their way
and miss the fact that within inches of their Hand , MULAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Fire ?

Yeah , somewhat safe from that as well .

House Fire , walk in and look at the shower , the Tiles ( if that's what the shower has , nowadays mostly fiberglass though )

Tiles plug the ends of the curtain rod and the connectors are ceramic .

so , stand a bit better chance of the Mulaa being still intact .

Hey , worked for me it did .

Hey , worked for me it did .

My Team and I some years back went to El Paso Texas for some training. We stayed at a local motel (no names), local LEO's where asked to clear the rooms for us before we showed up, we would have ran our own checks when we got there but they still helped.

We get there, police escort us from the airport to the motel. The one Officer tells us that there has been some issues with out rooms and they are trying to find us other rooms.

So some Officer went above his duty and took in a drug dog to clear our 9 rooms we had on the first floor. The dig hit on all 9 rooms, shower rod stuffed full of coke, each rod had 72 50 gram packages stuffed in them. The officer found 11 other rooms just the same.

I was kind of shocked. The best part was that since our agency paid for our rooms already and local LEO's already found lots of dope they did not need permission to search the rest of the building.

When we showed up though many people where acting very nice to us. The Officer running the scene tells us that just before we showed up these people where trying to play the "We know our rights" card. He says you guys pull in and walk in with your big letter jackets on and everyone wants to be nice and friendly. Another one chimed in and says yes Hollywood really screws up your agencies image to the public eye. LOL

So I though a few kilograms of coke was a good amount, turns out our Team was the only ones on site who thought that. We do not work drug cases but it seemed like lots to us, local said it was nothing compared to what they normally find though.

So when I got home I told my wife about it, she says makes sense to her that she keeps cash in all seven of our showers in the house. She then showed me, since then I purchased her a safe deposit box at the bank to do with what ever she wants.

Good idea, and if you need to leave in a hurry, grab and go!

You may get a few strange looks but hey the public thinks we'er a little odd anyhow.

I have only done this when there's absolutely nobody watching me because you never know what someone will do. If I'm at a park with multiple ball fields that have the temporary metal bleachers (4 to 5 rows of seats), I move them back from the original spot, detect all the goodies laying there, pickup all the trash and then I put them right back into the original spot. Always produces...

I didn't realize they were that easy to move. Most of the time I just keep away from them as the metal drives a detector crazy.

I have had a strong inclination to wonder what may be under the seats in old junked cars. We had an old junk yard in my hometown that had a number of older cars[ 50's and 60's] that I envisioned would have tons of old coins under the seats. The junk yard is long gone along with all those old cars that were probably crushed and hauled away and melted into blocks of steel. Missed that opportunity!!!

When my brother lived in Staten Island he had to walk across a Hooters parking lot at 6am to get his bus into the City, he said every morning he would find between 5 and 10 singles blowing around in the parking lot.

Whats your address? I need to come over and take A shower:laughing7:

John, we had a junk yard for many years. Closed it in the mid 90s. We always checked under and in all the seats. It was worth looking, but never really found a mother lode. Don't feel bad about not checking.

Has the area been built over?? If not sounds like an excellent place to search. Think, equipment moving junk cars around, piles of metal dropped into piles etc dropping stuff. Plus a chance of valuable parts left behind. I'd bet you could eyeball some coins if it hasn't been disturbed much. Not an easy search, and you REALLY need to know your detector.

Global Warming!...May have ...Some Benefits!

Global Warming.webp

Interesting story from a friend... located in a northern town... located next to a Glacier... here in Northern British Columbia, Canada.

This town's location is by a Glacier, which has caused Centuries of Earths' Upheavals and with this... many Gold Deposits!

Gold Nuggets.webp

What is interesting...with the receding Glaciers...He has been going around the bottom and locating...Gold Nuggets

He is now injecting steam to help melt the Glacier... Helping Mother Nature relinquish her gifts.
