Unexpected, weird, and interesting, just how I like them! Julio, my ATPro, let me know with a resounding 46 VDI that there was something in the mud under the bark in the school playground. I dig nearly ALL signals in the playgrounds for this reason. It was a marked 10k gold ring with a clam shell design. Other school goodies included two beat-up bling rings, a 1999 50 Stotinki coin from Bulgaria, and a telescoping magnet for mechanics. And as always, a fist full of clad. Can slaw and other junk usually bounce up and down with some scratch... but this was 46, 46, 46, with a solid, steady mid tone. (I think it was screaming DIG ME)... Great save, Sub! Nice finds, all!

Sometimes a walk around a playground is simply peaceful for me. I try to at least surface scan any playground I'm near. Simply to clean off dangerous sharp metal. If I find something "good", icing.
