Please help ID a dug coin

Today I dug this coin it has same diamater as a nickel but no rim. I think its made of bronze its rough details. I did my best to get a clear picture of it. I know there is a date on it but its so worn i dont want to loose any more details. If anyone wants any more info that can be usefull pleaae ask.

The more I keep looking i am leaning to a British coin.The area I dug it in is old had lots of activity. Using a mangifying glass i swear i can see a 176? something date.
