Hi and thank you for any information you can share. This is a antique saddle with brass horn. Decorated nicely. I have searched for a name and cannot find one. I have looked around fir info, but keep coming up empty handed. So hoping anyone on the board csn h elp with any information

I'm wondering if it might be Japanese or Chinese or was owned by someone with that heritage due to what looks like a Cherry Blossom on it.

I've spent many hours working in a saddle shop...

Looks like a kids pony saddle. Short seat length. Deep seat.
The fittings are American style. Concho with leather rosettes under.

Look under the skirt where the fender straps attach to the tree.
There could be makers marks under there.

Could be made in USA.
Could be a copy made in India.

There's one almost exactly like it on fleabay. No real info on that one either...
Same designs and flower stamp also.
