I never use spell check and prefer others not use it. I rather enjoy seeing how people misspell words. You get a better mental image of the poster by his revealing the inner person.

That's pretty funny, Ivan. But if a kid is a moron I want to know this going in. How he uses the language and how he spells is very revealing.

I build large wooden sailboats for a living and hire teenagers on occasion when I need an extra set of hands. If they show me nothing in their communication skills I'd very quickly find them depressing to be around. I don't want to be depressed. Besides, all the best workers I've ever hired have been very articulate and interested in reading. They all go on to more sophisticated jobs than boat shop boy, but while I have them they do not bore me.

I have often said -- god must love dumb folks --he made so many of em--

honestly folks that do not care enough to learn how to speak well or learn to write correctly --are mentally "lazy" by nature generally ( unless their honestly learning impaired)-- with non learning impaired folks --- mental laziness and physical laziness tend to go hand in glove together

guess I am guilty --of seldom using spell check

at least however i do not spell --dog --dawg * and have a basic grasp of the langauge.

I don't know for sure, but I'll take a guess. The "ute" in question may be a reference to a Joe Pesci character in the movie "My Cousin Vinny", and thats he talked. At least, that's how I read it.

like I said -- I do not use spell check , funny thing is most folks do think of me as smart * -- i had a 3.53 gpa in college and know a lot about many varied subject matters -- i will say that spelling and grammer -- however are not my strong suits.

i used ute in the screwed up way -- because to do it "right" as Ute would be odd in my messed up speak talk way i had it -- only "on" was done right

then indian misspelling was a "goof" i admit -- like I said --no spell checking fer me.
