I use and like very much, the Nokta Pointer.
I have had two black Garretts and an old Whites' Bullseye

Garrett.. I have both; the carrot is my primary. The original worked great and still does. I just prefer the water proof factor.

Garrett AT and the black one is my spare. Both have worked great and held up well. Love being able to wash the carrot under the spicket.

Right now I have a Kellyco Vulcan 360. I am looking to add either a TRX or Carrot when I have the money available.

The Garrett carrot is my main pinpointer. I started out with the original Garret but eventually got a TRX. I can't emphasize how much I dislike the TRX. Very unstable and falses like crazy. I would use my black Garret as my backup before the TRX.

The only downside I have had with the carrot is I wore a hole in the tip and I don't think I am hard on pinpointers at all. I was very surprised when I cleaned it one day and found the hole. I now have a tip protector on it. Just wish I had done that sooner.
