Pond drained first time in 100 years...

These are some of the finds after several hunts over 3 months at a pond created at a dam near a former mill in RI. The pond has been partially drained and the water level has been going up and down. The goal was to clean out the trash...but it also yielded treasures...No old coins though..at least not for me...yet 😉.

It was many hours of searching and cleaning...and muddy 😉.

I had that Airplane as a kid in the 70's not sure who made it though. I think it was painted red as I remember.

Wow … you have been very busy digging. That nice variety of finds certainly suggests lots of activity in that area, so I am surprised you have no old coins yet. They must still be out there waiting for you. Good luck!

Yes indeed..Lures and weights not pictured yet...Included a "Little Cleo " lure...

Thanks! I had a few favorites...The toy couch back, gold ring, clay marble, harmonicas, pocket flashlights and the travel ink wells! Oh and a bell part...

When the water gets low and the bottom exposed, I find it intriguing to seek things that have been hidden by the water for a long time. It looks like you have an ideal situation for that.
