Pond drained first time in 100 years...

These are some of the finds after several hunts over 3 months at a pond created at a dam near a former mill in RI. The pond has been partially drained and the water level has been going up and down. The goal was to clean out the trash...but it also yielded treasures...No old coins though..at least not for me...yet 😉.

Yes indeed! One day was 9 1/2 hours. Several other days were 2-6 hour days...

wow too cool, i found that same cap gun early this year,it from 1950

All kinds of toy guns were popular in the 50's! Remember the pop sound and the smell, and the tiny bit of smoke from those spools of red caps?
