I have put a 100 year age to this thread because I don't class modern Gold rings as treasure...Sorry. This is my oldest, found 2009 childs Roman Gold 8)

Very nice ring SS, good find! Can you tell me what the silver marks mean?

Gold marks.
E.V. would be the maker.
9 and .375 are the karat indication.
The anchor is for Birmingham.
And the i is the date mark in this case, as SS says 1908

Was Thinking of starting a "best old Gold Rings ' thread, searched & found this one.
It needs to be brought back up top. here's my prized shield ring, one of my first MD
Finds, Inside inscription, but unreadable, anyone want to venture a date? I'm guessing pre 1750.
