Not long ago I became a member of this fine forum and decided since I have the time to do more metal detecting than I have in the past. I prospect for gold more than anything and love my Tesoro Diablo umax but, I wanted a newer lighter all around machine. I have a '92 garrett grand master hunter cxiii that I haven't used much since I had shoulder surgery. This morning I looked at ebay and found a fisher f2 and decided to bid. Read pages about it and thinking along with my available funds...why not? I bid and won. Lightly used f2, 8" coil and headphones...$139.85. Right on! Should fit the bill.

Thanks. Waiting for it to arrive so I know if the coil cable end is push in or screw on. I'll be ordering the sniper coil right away.
