R.I.P. brave souls. Been a volunteer firemen and indeed LL on earth-so sad-John:BangHead:

Thoughts and prayers for those who made the ultimate sacrifice and their familes and loved ones. And my hope is that Terry and Tim were able to get out and on the road.

Great Americans serving others with resolve and courage. May their strength give comfort to their families, friends and brothers and sisters on the fire line.

Prayers were sent up from South Carolina as well as tears down my face!!!!!!!!!! My brother is a firefighter for the National Park Service, he is stationed in Boise,Id at the Interagency Fire Center, he works in training and safety....So my heart is really heavy, my Brother has worked on several HotShot Teams and then on to SmokeJumpers for several years as he worked his way up!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember most if not ALL of these ELITE HOTSHOTS ARE SEASONAL EMPLOYEES!!! Which means .... you got it NO BENIFITS!!!!!!! Call Write your Congressman DEMANDING better treatment of these ELITE Firefighters!!!!!!!!!!!

So sad to hear of this tragedy. My son is a fireman, and every time I hear of a firefighter being lost while doing their job, I cringe a little and think of how I would feel if I heard he had been injured in a fire. Just goes to show how quickly things can turn on you in a fire. :sadsmiley:

Terry and Tim were in the process of loading the RV when last talked to. Very quick conversation with Terry. He says they're fine just hurrying packing. Then I heard of a trailer flipping over. Didn't know if a big rig though.
My prayers go out to those families of lost loved ones and for those directly affected by this fire.

ive been checking with my friends in AZ. to see if they are ok! so far,so good! Gods speed to these heros! what a great loss to all!

I was shocked to hear what had happened. Can't imagine it.

I've been a fireman for 28 years, what horrible tragedy. Being killed in a burn over is every fireman's worst nightmare come true.

Terry C sent me a PM and they are OK
