Private Yard Day 2 - Clad, Wheats, A different Kind Of Merc And Charlie's Key

Hi all,

I went back to that private yard where I found a wheat and 2 silver coins yesterday ('54 quarter and '64 dime). I also checked another yard for about 30 minutes and found more clad. Didn't find any silver today, but ended up with 9 more wheats (1929-P, 1941-D, 1944-P, 1945-P, 1949-D, 1951-D, 1955-P, 1956-D and 1958-D). Hunting private yards has allowed me to find over 130 wheats this year!

The total count today was 143 coins (9 wheats, 14 quarters, 9 dimes, 4 nickels 106 Lincoln Memorial cents and a 1968 Shell coin. The penny count was high because I dug up almost all targets, even if they were questionable. Some questionable targets ended up being wheats that were buried really deep. I also found a small padlock, a spinner from a fishing lure, 2 keys and a Mercury medal. One of the keys has the Playboy emblem and "Charlie" engraved on the back.

Nat. If you dug up 9 wheaties...then I bet there's some silver hidin' there somewhere. I'd be going back again.
I love digging wheaties...but I hate it when I dig more than 10 and don't get a silver coin
