Problem with Z-link headphones

So I have started having problems with the Garrett headphones and z link. Completely charged and the head phones are cutting completely out. Is there a way to determine whether it is the transmitter or the headphones?

Same problem here, couldn't figure out which, so sent them both back. Garrett fixed and sent back, no charge.
