I am using a GBII and curious as to how effective the AT Gold is in Comparison? I have no experience W/the AT Gold but enjoy the GBII.

I say stay with the Goldbug II if you are detecting for natural gold nuggets

I am and thanks.

The Gold Bug 2 operates at a much higher frequency than the AT Gold or Gold Bug Pro, so, you'll find it easier to hit on the shallow tiny nuggets using it. The AT Gold and GB Pro will have a harder time with the tiny nuggets, but, will have better depth with their lower frequency.

Thanks for the replies. I'll stick with the GBII. I can't believe the tiny pieces it picks up at 2-3 inches.
