Protective Knee pads

I need advice on some knee pads for detecting.
Little back ground, I have bad knees from the Army days and need to protect them when digging targets.

I just had a total knee replacement. I had always worn knee pads during construction and detecting. I suggest you protect those knees however because the surgery is a nightmare!👍

Great advise for sure. It's an awful injury to have.

Knee pad straps can dog into the back of your leg and be a pain in the rump.

In cold weather I use pants with built in pockets for knee pads.

In warm weather I use these when wearing shorts. The straps are wide and their placement doesn't dig into the back of my legs. - Favorite Knee Pad

Yes I've had that annoying problem too. I ended up putting a cloth on them but they just fell off.
