.........Weather nice in Illinois; temps in the 50's,
sunny, very windy.

Hit a local park for about an hour and a half.

Heart went thump, thump for a second with the ring.
Not to be, India. >:(

Did manage to pull up some clad, about $1.50
and this 50 Rupiah, Bank Of Indonesia, 1971.
Worth about 1/2 cent ;) ;D

Good getting out for a bit.

all have a good un....

Good job Sherm. It's still good to get any ring because of the plain rarity of someone losing one.

Nas,

no, not gold, but still a moment of excitement. ;D

Sand,

think I would agree with you in past years; but now
it seems the young kids buy them like candy. Pick them
up for a few bucks and they don't care if it is lost.
Still enjoy finding them, but so many seem to be laying
around. These are the non gold/silver rings I dug
this summer

I'm jealous Sherm, I was really hoping I could go out one more time before the ground freezes and it needs to be on a weekend so I can hit the school. Today it has poured all day and the winds were really bad, a lot of people are without electricty because of fallen limbs and trees. Nice collection of rings for you this summer.
