pullman porter

found this on a lot today where i found a 1909 IH penny last week its 4 inches long 1 inch wide it has places on either side for a pin bar maybe?just wondering if anyone could put a date to it.think its probably off the hat due to its size.

Pullman Porter was a job...

Pullman was the company Train/Bus the Porter worked on.

This piece was probebly the nameplate off the Porter's door or it came off his Porter's uniform cap.

What does the back look like?
