dunno if it will help but got to http://www.mindat.org/maps.php?id=3431 take a look at all those maps at the bottom also you can check with the county tax assessor to find out who owns the property and look at the http://www.geocommunicator.gov/blmMap/Map.jsp?MAP=MC and you can fine claims and search around the outside edges of existing claims or find ones that have expired.
