Question about detecting near Ocean Isle

I was curious if anyone knows of some places besides the actual beach to hunt near Ocean Isle Beach NC. Going for a week end of June and really want a place that has older sites or at least a chance at finding more than fishing sinkers and modern clad/ beer tops.
