Has their been a thread started about it that I have missed?

Does anyone have a recommendation on which hotel to stay at? I haven't made any reservations yet. I just found out I can get that time off work.

Is one in a better/safer part of town?

I plan on leaving here Oct. 12 Thursday night, arriving sometime Friday morning and heading back home Sunday morning. Anyone from this area want to carpool or convoy as a group.

Anyone have recommendations on what kind of digging tools I should bring as I coin hunt in wood chips now.

Any comments or other other recommendations would be appreciated.

Check out the post that Stoney posted. There is a list of suggested supplies to bring with ya. Lodging 2 weeks before the event....well what can I say?
