Sorry to be a noob but what dates should I look for when getting halves, quarters, and dimes I'm mainly looking for the silver not for collecting rare coins

Oh and all Presidential Coins (gold dollars) are made in real gold. Buy as many as you can and hoard them. They have 1.6 ounces of 24KT gold in them!

Had a craigslist guy claim the same thing. Saying they were worth close to $1000 a piece in gold weight

He could have had the first lady coins which are made of 24K gold, 1/2 oz.
