Went out for a couple hours after work with the Equinox 600 to a local school that I know has been worked over by guys for years. After a wheat penny, some modern dimes and the usual garbage I found this old button at around 10” deep. I've been fairly impressed with the depth the 600 can get. Not a silver coin that I’m overdue finding another but still pretty cool. Anyone have any thoughts on how old it may be? Thanks!

Nice button! I can't really help you with the date, as I have ZERO experience in this area. However, here is a chart posted by another Treasurenet user which I downloaded sometime in the last year and a half. Maybe it will help. Based on the chart it looks like your button may be late 1700's to early 1800's (My apologies to whoever originally posted the chart, but I didn't take note of your username!)
