Is there a such thing as a 1976 silver proof half?

My understanding is that there are 1976 clad proof halfs and a 40% silver half from 1976 that came in an uncirculated set with an Ike dollar and a Washington quarter.

There are 1976S, Silver Clad 40%, as well as regular 1976S Proofs.

So all 1976 silvers are proof? or is there proof and uncirc 1976 silver halves?

There are also 40% silver uncirculated versions of the 1976 S Half as well.

I've found one of each, proof clad, proof silver and Unc silver.

Not worth much more than a regular 40%er, but cool coins.

And you can tell the difference in the business strike silver and proof silver by the proof having a lot more shine? Because they both are S mint marks...right?

Correct. I have one of the 1976S 40% silver uncirculated sets, and all 3 coins are clearly business strike versions complete with defects and tiny surface scratches despite being sealed from the US Mint.
