Did not make it to retirement, already had a new job before I retired. Second retirement check though, both crummy pay, one being US Army and the other being agency, but I did get to keep the tax free status. Anyway this job is not for long, it has me in Europe a great deal of the time, did not get to go fishing of MDing in a long time, but got to do a little both just the other day.

One of these days I am going to get a cool fun job, just have not figured out what that would be exactly.

Hook up with Blak Bart when he goes out shark fishing....that always reminds me of Jaws with the line "You're going to need a bigger boat"...lol.

Mate I can not stress how much I love being at the top of the food chain, terrorist, bad guys, bombs, getting shot, being stabbed are all things I can deal with. Sharks, big cats, gators, crocs I do my best to avoid, those things fall under what I call scary.

Love going out kayaking, In the Adriatic sea, folks say there are sharks there, never seen one and never met a fisherman in Italy who has seen one. But now that we have moved back state side, my yaks are not getting in that sea with me. Heck no, grew up in south texas and we had some crazy sharks, everytime I went to the coast some fella was pulling up a bull shark of hammer head. They say those hammer heads got some real good sniffers on them and will run down blood miles off, not sure if that is true, but what I do know is that I have spent just over 35 years of often having little injuries and just ignoring them, my luck is I would end up gettin eating or something.

Sharks I just can not do, I do not think I could do that from a big boat and I am always armed, but them things are out of my comfort zone.
