You are actually not far from the truth. You know how the old "medicines" were. They laced them with alcohol, Opiods, Heroine, Cocaine, Barbiturates, Tranquilizers and other stuff.



Hostetters bitters, almost 100 proof alcohol!





Lydia E. Pinkhams, filled with Alcohol and Opium.





Mrs. Winslows Soothing Syrup, filled with so much Opium and Alcohol, it killed the babies that it was supposed to be curing!

And who can forget this little advertising gem?

Ha ha! Thanks, but no thanks. You wouldn't catch me dead in a modern music venue with girls like that (although it wouldn't be a total tragedy).


I want a girl with these qualifications, most of which I know will never be met.


1. Must like bottles


2. Must like Civil War relics, research, digging, and all activities associated with the War between the States



3. Must be able to know what a good war relics is, when entering into an establishment that sells antiques, militaria. Must be able to I.D. an SS German Third Reich sword from a repro, know what a model 1860 spur looks like, determine a good haggling price for a 1861 Springfield musket, determine the markings on an American GI WWII helmet, etc.



4. Must not complain if I bring Rusty, Dusty, dirty and decrepit things into the house, and place them where I please, because after all, I AM PAYING FOR THE HOUSE


5. Must know how to have fun, if you get the gist of what I am implying here



6. Must have dark hair, blue eyes, and good figure.



7. Must have good cooking skills.



8. Must not be inclined to clean house all day.



9. Her father must not be looking for my blood.



10. Must love the Lord.
