Randy Albin who use to be a friend untill he found these across the street from me wanted me to post the pictures. He used an old 5900 white just to show me up today. But that is nothing new he always shows me up. :dontknow: The first find was the Pontiac chief of the sixes token. He then found the gold ring about 8 inches deep. Then the last find was the 1902 Indian head. Well needles to say I let the air out of his tires so I got even. Congrats Randy you did a good job. :crybaby2: OH it was ground that CTH4 hunted on.

It happens, we all get 'trumped' from time to time  You're a good friend though to post the pics for your buddy. That's a true treasure hunting pal if I ever saw one :headbang:

Great finds for Randy! Now dry the tears that the Etrac is shedding and get on those islands!

Stan,
Did you have batteries in your detector when you hunted that spot? The coil part of the detector goes on the ground in case you didn't know. :tongue3: :laughing9: Just kidding big guy. ;D

Congrats to Randy on that gold ring. :hello2: Being an old Pontiac lover I've always wanted to find one of those tokens.
Well done!

LOL MM I would of done just as good if I would of used a frisbie tied to a stick. I still can't sit down after he kicked my butt. :D He is a great guy so I will let him off the hook this time. Thanks for the replies.

Stan, is this the guy I met @ the hunt? I remember meeting someone who came out for a little while with a few detectors, I think he said he was a friend of yours. Not sure of his name, but if it was Randy I sure would had remembered, so would had Alden. We had a dear friend by the same exact name who recently died of cancer.

Burdie--your friends ring might be a class ring from the early 1940's. It looks similar to my grandma's class ring and she graduated in '41(I think). Here's a pic of her ring for comparison.
Tell Randy "Good Job" on those finds!
