In the past week I got out on two new sites that I gained permission on a couple of weeks ago. Both sites have turned out to be awesome so far. One is a late 1790's to 1840's site and the other dates back to 1735 confimed by documentation from landowner. The first site has given up multiple flat buttons, 1899 Barber Quarter, Spanish Cut Silver, Several broken shoe buckles, thimbles, Big coat buttons, Eagle I, a lots of other brass and copper goodies.

The 1735 site was just plain amazing and the first hunt (4 hours) lands a beautiful Andrew Jackson March 4, 1829 Inauguration Button (24 stars) and a 1773 Virginia Half Penny. My buddy found a King George III copper coin also. Got a nice post civil war eagle coat button and some other goodies. This site will take years to hunt due to the size of the property and mulitple structures across the site that date back to colonial america. You can visit Youtube under Wes-N-VA to view the live digs. Here is a sample of what was found in about 12 hours total of swinging the T2 SE and Minelab E-trac. Thanks for viewing and HH to all.

Man, that Andrew Jackson button is a beauty! Way to go Wes!

Now those are some real quality finds there...Love the button and cut spanish!

Great finds Wes! Virginia sure is good to us ;)

AWESOME Button! I'm always amazed that the backs of buttons have more designs than the front.

Love that button, and the cut silver, the coppers!

That is a great button for sure....Copper and Spanish silver too...Awesome hunt

AWESOME button! Congratz! Did you have to dig deep for the button/coins?!

Not at all, everything was about 5-7". The soil at one farm was very kind to us and easy digging, the other spot where the VA Half Penny came out of was a bit tough at times and required some time for each target. We are hurting for rain after a wet early to mid summer. I think it rained only once during the entire month of September and none so far in October...been rather warm to high 80's

You say "cuff" so it should be smaller than mine. Can you please send a picture of yours to me? Thanks again!
