Rare find...."A day off without rain"
A beautiful day in Michigan and I dont have to work! Its been way too long since Ive been able to do any ground fishin.My old sites are certainly overgrown so I opt for the local beach.I meet a park ranger on the way in, who informs me that two guys have been hittin the beach hard...one to two times a week since they opened.Not to let my spirits be dampened I forge on down to the water.I skip the sand entirely and start wading.I cover the 100yard area from shoreline to chest deep, digging anything that made a blip at all.Some of the targets obviously were recent, but many were quite deep into the lake bottom.
The other guys huntin the beach must be real "cherry pickers"........
The large ring with cross,the small ring with two hands holding heart,the small heavier hoop earring, and the girl charm with stone are all 925.
The Tiger head ring is solid gold but I cant decipher the hallmark?This ring was at least 10" into the lake bottom.The gold tone coins are Motor City casino tokens.
Very pretty ring...
