Real gold?

Hello All,
It is my first time I've tried gold panning with the panning set from XP.
I have found this tiny pieces (0.5-1mm) and took them home.
Is it gold or pyrite? Your feedback is much appreciated.

Check them in full and shaded light. Gold retains its color in shade everything else goes dark.

I would like a better photo but the way the edges are rolled / worn looks like Gold

Place the pieces on a flat surface .Push a pin or pen into them. If they shatter its..........pyrite .

It is my first time panning. I have processed something like a bucket of material from river bed.

I also used it when I was selling gold and the good buyers were not buying but I needed money. The others called everything "scrap" so scrap they got! 😉
