Now that is the definition of a great catch. It also signals the true changing of the seasons..... maybe spring really is here.:notworthy:

Nice Catch! I caught this one in Rockford Michigan a couple of months ago on the shown rapala...Rouge River. I put him on the stringer and afterwards decided to let him go. he sure looked tasty though! It was hard watching him swim away lol. It's funny, I had hooked him twice. The first time was about ten minutes beforehand and he wiggled off. Definitely one of the nicer browns I have caught in my lifetime. Don't fool yourself though, it always gets better!....and we live on to TH and fish another day...

A large night crawler. Size 4 hook , 6lb. Test , I also catch and release these native fish.

I can smell that fish frying in some butter, over a wood fire on the side of the stream/lake/river with a bit of salt and pepper. Whoa man, Super!!!

I like to release them too for the most part. Assures me that there will be more to catch the next time I go to the river! Although I have no problem dropping fifty bluegill into a deep-fryer! Does the fact that I typically release trout but fry up bluegill make me a racist or a trout-hugger? lol I was raised in the south, It makes me happy to watch fish sizzle in hot oil. GGGAAAWWDDD I miss the fishing down in Florida! I mean, these fresh water fish are good too, but not half as fun to catch in my opinion. Its a whole different ballgame. Kind of like the difference between football and baseball. I consider freshwater fishing to be the baseball...

That was a nice fish! would be hard to release, but kudos to you for doin it. I miss trout in cold rivers.I don't even fish them here in MO cuz its shoulder to shoulder fishing. Got a couple great farm lakes though fish for bass & crappie(?)

These ones hear are for the broiler butter bacon lemon. Panther Martin spinners for these stock fish. Even Princess likes to get in on the action.

where you get them the hudson? lol

Florida bass 4/3/13 and 4/4/13

Great looking catches for both of you, those are some fine looking trout , wish we had them here in fla but we don't we have bream, blue gills and bass. These 2 were caught on 4/3/13 and 4/4/13 Went out on a small lake here in north fla, waters low and there's not a single dock in the water anymore, but the first nite my buddy caught this one pictured which is 12'9 and had already bed out, we went back the next nite and my other buddy hooked his which was 10'3, I of coarse caught smaller ones but landed both of those pictured by hand because we had no net.. Both were released to spawn again. Nothing like holding a ten plus pound bass even if you did'nt catch it, I was just glad to be there to witness! Sorry about the second pic being blury (phone)it was just before dark and was having a time to get it focused with the light. Same lake!
