Can never say for sure from pics but this pic looks like real gold to me. I'm sure you are aware that BC is noted for its gold deposits.

On goldbay.com they have a example of what to look for in "home made" gold nuggets. get your 10x loop out to examine them closely and look for any unnatural looking objects on the "nuggets" for example any rounded objects (BB like ) where there shouldn't be . Its a good site for your info! There are people out there making great looking "fakes" . Your nuggets look real to me from your picture. BUT...........

Hello there!
Just for comparison. Unrefined pieces of artisanal gold melted with a portable blow-torch. Origin: gold-rush area somewhere in the mountains of Mindanao and recovered using pick-and-shovel, improvised sluice box and concentrated using a wood gold pan by indigenous tribal individuals. Bartered with gasoline-fed blowtorch with foot-powered air bellows. Approximately 69.9 grams. The area has since been abandoned due to ongoing deadly skirmishes of armed groups, tribal inhabitants and the military.

Just a few souvenir bits.

Looks real to me, but nothing for scale in the photo. Could be a pile of flour gold under magnification.
